Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Website Blocker ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Website Blocker is a productivity application that helps users manage their screen time by blocking access to selected apps and websites on iOS devices. The App uses Apple's native Screen Time API (FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, DeviceActivity frameworks) to provide blocking functionality.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. The App is designed for individual use only — users manage their own device restrictions voluntarily.

4. Account and Authentication

• You may use the App as a guest (anonymous account) or create an account using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email/password.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• Guest accounts have limited sync functionality. Linking an account enables multi-device sync and data backup.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Subscription Plans

The App offers the following premium plans:

• Monthly Premium: Auto-renewable monthly subscription.
• Yearly Premium: Auto-renewable yearly subscription with a 3-day free trial.
• Lifetime Premium: One-time non-consumable purchase.

5.2 Billing

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the subscription rate.

5.3 Free Trial

• The yearly subscription includes a 3-day free trial.
• If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged the subscription price.
• Free trial eligibility is determined by Apple and limited to one per Apple ID.

5.4 Cancellation

• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.
• Lifetime purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.

5.5 Price Changes

• We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the date of the price change.
• Apple will notify you of any price changes in advance, and you will have the option to cancel.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the App.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
• Use the App to restrict another person's device without their consent.
• Distribute, sublicense, or transfer the App to third parties.

7. Strict Mode Disclaimer

• You are voluntarily restricting your own access to apps and websites.
• The App is not responsible for any inconvenience, missed communications, or inability to access apps/websites during an active Strict Mode session.
• In case of emergency, you can restart your device to temporarily bypass restrictions.

8. Screen Time API Usage

• The App uses Apple's FamilyControls framework for individual (not parental) authorization.
• Blocking functionality depends on iOS Screen Time permissions granted by you.
• The App does not use VPN profiles, DNS filtering, or any network-level interception.
• Apple may change or restrict Screen Time API capabilities at any time, which may affect App functionality.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned by the developer and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT BLOCKING WILL BE 100% EFFECTIVE IN ALL SCENARIOS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Inability to access blocked apps or websites during Strict Mode sessions.
• Loss of data or configurations.
• Changes to iOS or Screen Time API that affect functionality.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Subscription cancellation and refund policies remain subject to Apple's terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes through the App or via email.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
